Who are we?

Pellegrine is a small independent accessories retailer based in Pershore, Worcs. This privacy policy covers the use of data by Pellegrine. You can get in touch via the Contact Us page. Our stock is held in a separate warehouse.

How do we collect your information?

When you place an order we will gather all the information we need to process your order. (For example: name, email, postal address, billing address, card number or other payment method details, contact phone number. We may also capture your IP address for fraud check purposes only). In accordance with GDPR legislation, we will not send you email marketing unless to those;

• Who have signed up to receive our emails at an event.
• If you have entered a competition and asked us to send you emails.
• Customers who have purchased with us online.

You can opt out of email marketing at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, or by contacting us.

As with all sensitive data we keep your information securely.  Payment details are sent to and managed securely via the Shopify website via the payment portal you choose at checkout. 

What do we do with your data?

Primarily we use the data you provide to us to fulfil our contract with you: we use your delivery address to know where to send your order; we may use your email address and/or mobile phone number to update you about your order status.

In regards to marketing (either from selecting on our website, if you inform us by telephone/at a fair or if you have entered a competition), you can opt out at anytime by unsubscribing from our emails. We will only use the email address that you have supplied. We will keep email data unless you tell us you no longer wish to receive marketing from us, in which case we will remove you from our list after the suggested time.

Data Sharing

The only data we pass to third parties is in order for them to fulfil services for us, but they can only use this data to fulfil those services for us and cannot pass it on. The companies we use are:

• Royal Mail – requires your address in order to deliver or your order
• Other courier companies also require your details and sometimes a delivery phone number and email (We may use couriers other than Royal Mail only on very big orders or wholesale delivery)

You have the right to access your personal data (to ask us what information we hold about you), to ask for your data to be deleted or corrected, to ask us to stop processing your data and to stop receiving marketing from us. For all of the these, please do contact us. Where we are obliged to comply with your request and we will do so as quickly as possible.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket/cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the ‘Remember Me’ Option. If you turn off cookies, you may be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.

General

Pellegrine belts may show slight variations to the colours depicted on your device. Pellegrine belts have been generally named. The name given to a belt does not depict the colour of the belt. 

The sizing is an approximate measurement - this is not accurate. The belts may become longer as a result of over stretching. We will not be responsible for replacement due to over stretching.

We will not be responsible for any errors including typo's, photographic or material, which may appear on our website. We may make changes to our products at any time and without notice. We will make every effort to ensure all the information on the website is accurate and up to date at the time of publication.

We will not be responsible for any delay or failure to comply with these conditions of sale if such delay or failure is due to any circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation fire, flood or other extreme weather conditions or problems with or delays by any of our suppliers.

Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.
We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

These conditions of sale are the only terms and conditions that are applicable to your order but shall not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Pellegrine belts are not a toy, please do not leave your child unattended with a belt. We hold no responsibility for any accident, injury or death caused by our belts.

If any of these terms of sale is determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, then such term will be severed from the remaining terms which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

If you do not comply with these conditions of sale and we take no action in respect of that non-compliance, our right to take action in the same or similar situation in the future will not be affected.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.

You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.

We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes to our site.

All rights on this website, including copyright are owned by Pellegrine. Copying this website, to its content without prior consent is prohibited. 

Shopify

Pellegrine is hosted by Shopify who provide an e-commerce platform for us to sell our products to you. Your data is stored via their data storage and general Shopify application. If you pay via a direct payment gateway, then Shopify stores will save your credit card data, encrypted through PCI_DSS. Your purchase transaction data is stored for as long as is necessary to complete the transaction. These gateways adhere to the relevant standards.

Website Usage

You must not use the website in any way which will cause or is likely to cause the website to be impaired, damaged or interrupted in any way.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about the way we use your data please contact us. If we cannot resolve the problem for you, you can also contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): www.ico.org.uk

These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Pellegrine will not be responsible for any ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms & Conditions by you.
